Testimonials

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work with many kind and dedicated people who simply needed some guidance to be able to achieve their goals.

My goal in asking specific questions is that I wanted you to get an idea from my clients themselves as to what results they got and how they went about it. Below some comments from a few of my satisfied clients.

Buffie from Walkersville          age 42

1. What motivated you to try personal training?

I have always been really lazy about exercising, and always make excuses not to do it. I finally realized I needed somebody to motivate me, and it's working!

2. What were your fitness goals at the begining of your fitness program?

Primarily weight loss, toning, and becoming healthier. My cholesterol and blood pressure were borderline, so I wanted to nip those problems in the bud before they got out of hand.

3. How frequently do you personal train?  Since May 2011

 4. How long have you trained with Rx Fitness?

Usually three days per week (work/travel schedule permitting)

5. Do you do any other activities on your own?

I try to do some sort of cardio two or more days per week (on altnerate days of personal training days)

6. What improvements have you seen since you have been personal training?

My energy level is way higher - I get much more accomplished during my typical day than I used to. I've noticed some toning, and reduction of cellulite on my thighs. Yay! I've also lost 9 pounds, and feel much stronger. I used to get winded climbing stairs or carrying my suitcase around the airport, but I don't anymore.

 7. What advice to someone who is just starting personal training?

Sign up today! It's one of the best choices I've ever made. I have not ever stuck to any sort of exercise regime. Sure, I've joined many gyms and/or programs over the years, but this is the first time I've actually enjoyed it and stuck to it for more than a month or two. Having that appointment really helps, plus Sandy is highly motivating, constantly providing positive reinforcement and words of encouragement.

Lauree of  Frederick       age 54

 1. What motivated you to try personal training?

I needed motivation, encouragement, and the professional that would help me get the results of toning and losing weight.

 2. What were your fitness goals at the begining of your fitness program?

Mostly, I wanted to lose weight, but also wanted to be in "better shape" and better health.  I wanted to be able to run and play with my 2 year old granddaughter without thinking I was terribley out of shape.

 3. How frequently do you personal train?  3 times a week

 4. How long have you trained with Rx Fitness? Since May 2011

 5. Do you do any other activities on your own?

I walk daily, and try to do cardio at the gym on my own.

 6. What improvements have you seen since you have been personal training?

I've seen alot of improvements. I've lost weight, toned and have muscles I have never had before. I have more energy, clothes are looser. Also few years ago I went through a partial knee replacement and I've gain strength and balance with my weaker leg.

 7. What advice to someone who is just starting personal training?

I would say, be prepared to work, to sweat and don't be afraid of being slightly sore. Being a bit sore means you have worked those muscles that you haven't worked in a long while. Listen to your trainer, they have your best interest at heart, and are there to help you. Push your self to the best of your abilities . You chose to hire a personal trainer so get the most out of it as you can. Don't miss your workouts if you can help it as you need to workout to accomplish your fitness goals.
